As a private education provider of the Mettenmeier group of companies, which offers IT solutions for network operators at home and abroad with more than 200 employees, the FGE TrainingsCenter trains participants in mainly technical professions such as GIS engineer, technical editor, technical product designer, draftsman, and others.
The FGE TrainingsCenter has been training technical writers since 1996. Participants are trained in the conception, creation, optimization and output of technical documents. The focus here, in addition to legal and normative frameworks, is on structuring, standardization and modularization. In addition to Word and Photoshop as basic tools, participants learn HTML, XML and CSS in preparation for the editing system SCHEMA ST4.
