Terms of participation

Services

A flat-rate participation fee (€399 net for in-person participation) is charged. This participation fee is charged regardless of the number of participation days booked. The fee for in-person participation also includes refreshments and lunch as well as participation in our evening event.  Participant expenses incurred for traveling to and from the location, accommodation or transfers at the event location are not included.

Registration

The participant can register online at Quanos and registration is binding for the participant once they receive confirmation. Quanos reserves the right to subsequently reject a participant’s registration. You will be invoiced for in-person participation via e-mail. Unfortunately, you cannot receive a partial reimbursement for services you do not make use of, for example if you do not attend the evening event. The participation registration also cannot be divided up among several participants.

Withdrawal/rebooking

You can cancel your registration free of charge up to April 18, 2025. The full participation fee is due for cancellations made after this date. The cancellation must be made via e-mail to marketing@quanos.com. The participation fee will not be reimbursed if you do not attend the event or leave it early. A replacement participant can also be nominated free of charge up to April 18, 2025.

Variations in performance

Changes in the program, replacement of speakers, and cancellation of the event due to insufficient demand or force majeure remain expressly reserved. In the case the event is canceled, the participant will be notified immediately and the payment already made immediately reimbursed. Further participant claims are excluded.

Photos and video recordings

By registering for the event as an in-person participant, you agree that film, image, word, and sound recordings may be made of you during the event (including the evening event); as an online participant you agree to the chat history being recorded. These recordings can be used for reporting (including advertising) on the event without any restrictions, e.g., in that they are published on the Quanos Group websites by companies from the Quanos Group, taking into consideration all legal framework conditions.

Data protection

Quanos also stores, processes, and uses the participant’s personal data for proper fulfillment of the order. Quanos also applies automatic data processing systems for this purpose. For the purpose of compliance with the data privacy requirements of Article 32 GDPR, Quanos has implemented technical and organizational measures to guarantee the security of the database and of the data processing procedures. The employees entrusted with the processing are obliged to uphold the GDPR and BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act) regulations and are committed to strict adherence to the entirety of existing data privacy provisions.

In addition, we refer to our data privacy policy at https://quanos.com/en/privacy-policy/, in particular clause 8 on handling data during online conferences using the tool employed for the event.

By registering for Quanos Connect, you agree to the storage, processing, and use of your personal data. You are hereby informed that you can withdraw the consent you granted at any time for the future electronically (marketing@quanos.com) or by mail (Quanos Solutions GmbH, Hugo-Junkers-Str. 15-17, 90411 Nuremberg).

Liability

Quanos is only liable for damages – irrespective of the legal grounds – if it caused these damages intentionally or as a result of gross negligence or it negligently violated an essential contractual obligation whose fulfillment enables proper implementation of the contract and if the contractual partner can regularly rely on compliance with this (“cardinal obligation”). Quanos’ liability in cases of the violation of essential contractual obligations shall always be only for the damages which are contractually typical and foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded. Insofar as Quanos is liable for damages resulting from negligence in cases of violation of essential contractual obligations, its obligation to pay compensation is however limited in terms of amount per damage incident to: 10,000.00 EUR for property damage. Liability for damages which have been caused by violation of non-essential contractual obligations resulting from simple negligence is excluded. Furthermore, liability for consequential damages, lost profits, or property damage is excluded. The liability exclusion or liability limitation does not apply to harm to life, limb, or health, nor to claims arising from a quality guarantee or pursuant to the Product Liability Law. The participant shall notify Quanos of any damages for which Quanos ought to be liable. Insofar as claims for damages against Quanos are excluded or limited, this shall also apply to the personal liability of Quanos’ bodies, experts, and other employees as well as subcontractors and vicarious agents.
