Who we are

Quanos - that is the association of software experts who develop unique software products and solutions for after-sales, service and technical documentation. More than 1400 customers worldwide trust in the innovative, successful and sustainable technology of Quanos.

Our 300 employees have more than 30 years of market experience and contribute to the uniqueness of Quanos: We work closely together, complement each other and benefit from each other's know-how.

What we do

In addition to technical documents such as operating instructions, 2D drawings, 3D drawings and circuit diagrams, each machine also includes other relevant information on spare parts. The software solutions from Quanos ensure that all this information can be created, managed and made available centrally in a professional but uncomplicated manner.

We are specialists in the creation and distribution of all technical information. The XML editing system SCHEMA ST4 is considered standard equipment for every modern technical editing department.
We also complement our portfolio with service information systems and interactive spare parts catalogues. With Quanos SIS.one, customers receive customised solutions based on the two proven products CATALOGCreator and PARTS-PUBLISHER.

Our customers are manufacturers and operators of machines and systems who prepare and provide smart information about their products in after-sales, service and technical documentation. They supply and support customers in a wide range of target industries. From manufacturing companies, the pharmaceutical industry to the food industry, they benefit from smart information just as much as the automotive and supplier industry, medical technology, the software industry and other sectors. With our software solutions, we offer essential tools for all these target groups.

History

When three successful companies joined forces in January 2020, a group of companies was formed with concentrated expertise in the management and distribution of technical information, service and spare parts information and spare parts catalogues.

Since then, the name Quanos has brought together

formerly SCHEMA GmbH
formerly TID Informatik GmbH and Docware GmbH

While the company names have changed - the familiar products are still in the portfolio and are constantly being developed to deliver proven software with innovative ideas to all Quanos customers.

About SCHEMA GmbH

SCHEMA GmbH was founded in 1995 by a team of developers and documentation specialists in Nuremberg. The flagship in the portfolio was and is the XML-based editing system SCHEMA ST4. Today, SCHEMA ST4 is part of the standard equipment of every professional technical editing department.

About TID Informatik GmbH

Successful on the market since 1992, TID Informatik developed CATALOGCreator® in 2004, an innovative software for electronic spare parts catalogues and service information systems. Established for years, the CATALOGCreator® continues to be part of the Quanos product portfolio and forms the basis of Quanos SIS.one.

About Docware GmbH

The longest-standing company in the alliance is Docware GmbH, founded in 1987. Docware entered the market in 2000 with PARTS-PUBLISHER and since then has offered groundbreaking software for digital spare parts catalogues and service information systems. Customers will continue to receive PARTS-PUBLISHER under Quanos as the basis of Quanos SIS.one.
