Terms of participation

Services

A flat-rate participation fee of €149 net (participation fee + access to event app) is payable.

Registration

The participant can register online at Quanos and registration is binding for the participant once they receive confirmation. Quanos reserves the right to subsequently reject a participant’s registration. You will be invoiced by e-mail for the participation fee. A (partial) refund for services you do not make use of, such as not attending the live event or leaving early, is not possible. The participation registration also cannot be divided up among several participants.

Withdrawal/rebooking

You can cancel your registration free of charge up to 26.04.2024. The full participation fee is due for cancellations made after this date. The cancellation must be made via e-mail to marketing@quanos.com.

Variations in performance

We reserve the right to cancel the live event due to insufficient demand or force majeure. The same shall apply in the event that Quanos Connect does not take place due to insufficient demand or force majeure. Should these scenarios arise, the participant will be notified immediately and the payment already made immediately reimbursed. Further participant claims are excluded.

We expressly reserve the right to make changes to the program or to replace speakers.

Data protection

Quanos stores, processes, and uses the participant’s personal data for correct fulfillment of the order. Quanos also applies automatic data processing systems for this purpose. For the purpose of compliance with the data privacy requirements of Article 32 GDPR, Quanos has implemented technical and organizational measures to guarantee the security of the database and of the data processing procedures. The employees entrusted with the processing are obliged to uphold the GDPR and BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act) regulations and are committed to strict adherence to the entirety of existing data privacy provisions.

In addition, we refer to our data privacy policy at https://quanos.com/en/privacy-policy/, in particular clause 8 on handling data during online conferences using the tool employed for the event.

By registering for Quanos Connect ReConnect, you agree to the storage, processing, and use of your personal data. You are hereby informed that you can withdraw the consent you granted at any time for the future electronically (marketing@quanos.com) or by mail (Quanos Solutions GmbH, Hugo-Junkers-Str. 15-17, 90411 Nuremberg).

Liability

Quanos is only liable for damages – irrespective of the legal grounds – if it caused these damages intentionally or as a result of gross negligence or it negligently violated an essential contractual obligation whose fulfillment enables proper implementation of the contract and if the contractual partner can regularly rely on compliance with this (“cardinal obligation”). Quanos’ liability in cases of the violation of essential contractual obligations shall always be only for the damages which are contractually typical and foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded. Insofar as Quanos is liable for damages resulting from negligence in cases of violation of essential contractual obligations, its obligation to pay compensation is however limited in terms of amount per damage incident to: 10,000.00 EUR for property damage. Liability for damages which have been caused by violation of non-essential contractual obligations resulting from simple negligence is excluded. Furthermore, liability for consequential damages, lost profits, or property damage is excluded. The liability exclusion or liability limitation does not apply to harm to life, limb, or health, nor to claims arising from a quality guarantee or pursuant to the Product Liability Law. The participant shall notify Quanos of any damages for which Quanos ought to be liable. Insofar as claims for damages against Quanos are excluded or limited, this shall also apply to the personal liability of Quanos’ bodies, experts, and other employees as well as subcontractors and vicarious agents.
