Nuremberg, 23 June 2022 - After a two-year break due to the pandemic, Quanos, one of the leading manufacturers of software products for after-sales, service and technical documentation, once again held its annual customer event as a face-to-face event. Under the name Quanos Connect, the first joint conference of the Quanos Group, participants were presented with a colourful programme of presentations on Smart Information over two days. The conclusion was unanimous: It could not have gone better.
While in the last two years the Quanos cDAY and the SCHEMA Conference only took place virtually, the Quanos Group united the two events, which have been firmly anchored in the calendar of customers, partners and interested parties for years, into a joint presence event in 2022: the Quanos Connect. Not only the name was new, but also the location: Quanos Connect welcomed around 500 guests on two floors in NCC Ost, a chic, light-flooded glass building at the Nuremberg exhibition centre. About 200 participants were also present remotely to follow selected lectures digitally.
Up to five lectures took place in parallel: From news about SCHEMA ST4, Quanos SIS.one and the Quanos InfoCube to know-how in automation, translation and 3D to artificial intelligence, process redesign and smart content - participants were spoilt for choice when it came to selecting lecture slots.
Presentation of the Quanos InfoTwin
The focus was on the presentation of the latest product from Quanos: the Quanos InfoTwin, the Digital Information Twin for manufacturers and operators of machines. The cloud-based solution combines distributed information into a digital twin, product- and situation-specific knowledge in aftersales and service is thus bundled. The Quanos InfoTwin provides valuable insights about the machines and systems in the field. With this central building block for digitalisation in aftersales and service, Quanos offers an integrated cloud solution for technical documentation and spare parts information for the first time. The Saas offering makes it possible to realise productivity benefits particularly quickly through time and cost savings in the areas of maintenance, repair and operation.
A potpourri of future-oriented topics
Also present were 30 Quanos partner companies, who presented their products and services at their own stands and imparted know-how on technical documentation, after-sales & service in expert lectures*. The programme was rounded off by the powerful keynote speech "Mission Trust! The Art of Winning People" by former secret agent Leo Martin. And of course, the traditional evening event was not missing: together, conversations were deepened, contacts intensified and the live gathering enjoyed in the Bratwurst Röslein.
"We saw that our customers, partners and employees were very eager to attend a big presence event again. The atmosphere could not have been better from the very first moment!", Nobuyoshi Shimada, one of the managing directors of Quanos, is pleased. And Nikolaus Scholz and Rafi Boudjakdjian, CEO and CTO of the Quanos Group, are also extremely satisfied: "The Quanos Connect exceeded our expectations. On the one hand, we have shown that it is the meeting place par excellence for users and experts from the fields of technical documentation, service & after-sales. And on the other hand, we were confirmed that the topics we are currently focusing on - such as digital twin, automation, AI - not only occupy the industry per se, but are absolutely trend-setting. We are already looking forward to continuing the event next year!"
The next Quanos Connect will take place on 23 + 24 May 2023.
