Our US office has secured a deal with leading healthcare products manufacturer Medline, with the first phase of the project almost complete in October. The aim of the project is to render browsing the catalog more straightforward and to make identifying and ordering spare parts for Medline wheelchairs in the B2C business simpler.
Since its foundation in 1910, Medline has grown from a small manufacturer of aprons, theatre textiles and uniforms to a thriving business worth 8 billion US dollars. Today Medline produces and distributes a wide range of medical products for healthcare facilities and markets worldwide. Medline Industries, Inc. is the largest privately owned manufacturer and distributor of healthcare products in the USA.
Medline's main project goal was to render the identification of spare parts in the electronic spare parts catalog easier for end customers. CATALOGcreator® supports Medline in its B2C business activities. To ensure ease of use and an intuitive user experience, this innovative software solution has been consciously designed to focus on only the most important functions.
End customers can access the catalog via the "Wheelchair Parts Finder" available on the manufacturer's Homepage. Once the user has identified the spare part, they are redirected to the Medline web shop, where they can complete the order process.
The next stage of the project will involve linking the basket function of CATALOGcreator® with the current shop system to provide an even more relaxed browsing, identification and ordering experience for end customers.
